Our Alarm Receiving Centre, also referred to as an ARC, is based in Manchester and serves as a purposeful hub dedicated to overseeing various buildings and companies' security and safety systems, with a primary focus on intruder, security, and fire alarms.

Within this specialised centre operates a vigilant and highly-trained team of monitoring operatives whose primary goal is to promptly react to any alarms triggered. The team remains on high alert and continuously monitors incoming alarms, ready to act appropriately by dispatching necessary responses, such as requesting police assistance.

Thus, when a fire or security breach occurs, the responsibility falls entirely on the capable shoulders of the Alarm Receiving Centre, thereby relieving the company's employees of any responsibility or pressure. The additional 24-hour monitoring and attention to detail provide an extra layer of protection, ensuring that the system remains secure at all times.

1. An alarm activated at a customer's site causes a signal to be sent to the ARC monitoring station from the system control panel.

2. During operational hours, the ARC monitoring team investigates to verify if the alarm is authentic or false.

3. They check with the site to guarantee that emergency services and company down time is avoided.

4. Out of working hours, they assess the legitimacy of the alarm with CCTV and audio recordings.

5. In any case, action is taken within minutes which could involve an audio challenge, police, fire department, or notifying the keyholder. This offers assurance to businesses that their premises are supervised 24/7 and that any suspicious activity will be handled immediately.
